I moved to Oregon from Wales in 1996 after completing a BA in Fine Art, painting and printmaking. My drawings and prints reflect my continued interest in anatomy and the physical experience of being in a body.
This curiosity and enthusiasm for the structure of the body led me to an interest in cranial therapy, and from there to study Massage at East West College of Healing Arts in 2003.
Since then I have continued my education in deep tissue and sports massage, cranial therapy, and biodynamic massage. I have apprenticed with Todd Jackson LMT, and have been assistant teacher in his massage and cranial classes since 2007.
I grow vegetables in my garden, read books, walk with my dogs, bake bread, cook, (clean up the kitchen!) and practice yoga now and then.
